A Skip & A Hop

my first commission

I got my first commission and couldn’t be more excited! After half a year of drawing for fun and putting my work out there, a very lovely lady reached out for custom art featuring a pair Phainopeplas. She was the turning point for me in switching gears from hobby into professional. I will forever be grateful! She is a member of the Friends of Arizona Joshua Tree Forest and purchased my illustration for donation. My art will be featured as a silent auction piece at their second annual festival in April 2019.

I am beyond humbled and elated to be included in their conservation efforts. They are volunteer-based and committed to returning the Joshua Tree Forest back into its natural state after irresponsible and ignorant park-goers leave behind damage and garbage. I wish their organization tons of success as they grow!
